Meet Suzanne: A Closer Look at Our May Instructor Spotlight!




We are so lucky to have this beautiful human as an instructor at the studio! Meet Dr. Suzanne Powell, yep, we said doctor. As a family practitioner, she is used to meeting her patients where they are at physically and emotionally. And if she can manage health and wellness off the mat, can you imagine the kind of support and instruction you can receive on your mat?! Suzanne is a wealth of knowledge, and brings a very calm energy to our space. She teaches a thoughtful, intentional and gentle Mindful class every Friday at 12pm. Triangle – I feel so open and powerful

Pigeon – Feels melty and soft

Gomukhasana – This leg position feels very natural for me and the arms are a challenge so it’s both easy and hard.

What made you want to become a Yoga Instructor? How long have you been teaching?

I want people with all types of backgrounds and bodies to feel like their bodies are awesome, capable and beautiful. I’ve been teaching since January of this year.





Do you have any other hobbies other than practicing yoga?

Reading, cooking, baking, guitar dabbler, learning/speaking Spanish
